26/11 was remembered with extravagant shows and candle light vigils across India with great media coverage and celebrity presence. We showed the world that terrorism can never defeat the spirit of India. The terrorist should know that their deeds only brings India together and unites them cutting across the lines of disturbances.
But was such an extravagant show necessary to show the world the Spirit and Soul of India?
In a country which celebrates everything, How did we miss 3/12?
No it is definitely not a date to remember in the Diary of terrorist attacks. Is that why we missed it?
After claiming 25000 lives and injuring many more....3/12/2009 was the 25th Anniversary of the Bhopal Gas tragedy.
The aftermath of the disaster still evident in the present generation and it will be there to burn our hearts in the generations to come.
When we hold candle lights as a mark of respect to the victims of 26/11....shed a tear for those who died 25 years ago, and also to those who are living victims of the catastrophe.
Lest we forget them!!
